For the first "Art Everyday" post, I've chosen one of my favorite paintings at The National Gallery of Art: Antoine Vollon's, Mound of Butter, 1875/1885. The painting is currently on view in the Small French Paintings exhibition. Check it out if you are in DC and see if you like it as much as I do!
