Over the weekend, Ian and I headed down to the Mall to check out the cherry blossoms. We missed them last year and since we won't be living in DC next spring we felt like we couldn't NOT go to see them this year! And we were so happy that we did! The weather was perfect and the blossoms were beautiful. While the Tidal Basin is one of the best known spots to view the cherry blossoms, I really enjoyed the Enid A. Haupt Garden next to the Freer and Sackler Galleries, behind the Smithsonian Castle. Enjoy the photos below!

Ian and I are off to Portland tomorrow morning for a quick house hunting trip. We
really hope we find our dream home, but are feeling a bit discouraged by the low inventory in Portland. Wish us luck and fingers-crossed!
